Background
I started working on The NoGood Book in 2024 and decided early to self-publish it, giving me total control over the end product—I came up with the book's concept, designed each and every page, selected the work, hired Daniël to be my editor and visited various printers to discuss options and budgets. When your order comes in, I'll ship it with care from my studio in Amsterdam.
NoGood's origins lie in the bitcoin space, but this is not a book about bitcoin. It does dedicate ample space to provide more background and context about the environment in which my work exists. To achieve this, it's divided into four distinct sections, adding up to 272 pages in total.
A large chunk of the funds needed to produce the book came from a bitcoin-only crowdfund campaign. I wrote irregular updates during the production process, providing a peek behind the scenes while the book's design kept shapeshifting along the way.
